Wacom, industrially large for their graphic tablets, but also known for the professional Cintiq seires.

Before I begin, what's special about Wacom Cintiq?

A typical graphics tablet consists of a pad which you draw and write on, and it will appear on your screen. This works well, but takes a bit of hand coordination since you're drawing on something, but it's appearing somewhere else.

Cintiq is a step above where you draw onto the screen itself, eliminating the initial awkward hand coordination, and also making drawing a lot faster, easier, and more fun.

Ingenious Drew Northcott wanted a Cintiq, but the cost of one was a put off, as any other brand, and decided to try and turn his current standard one into a Cintiq clone.

This to which now we have a Do It Yourself (DIY) Cintiq which is both cost effective, and just as functional.

You can read and follow his guide, along with other works, on his main page.

We have a Capax 12.1" graphics tablet and a 15" Acer LCD monitor which we will be taking apart to turn into our own DIY Cintiq; no custom name for it as of yet.
